In
March 1999 All Saints Church in Weston Village launched
an appeal to raise thousands of pounds needed to refurbish
the old school building that stands on Weston High Street.
On Sunday September 30th 2001 the Bishop of Bath and Wells
the Rt Rev Jim Thompson formally opened the building.
The
result of all this activity is a beautiful Victorian building
that stands on a hill on the outskirts of the historic city
of Bath. Close to the church, this makes it an ideal venue
for receptions of all types. |

The
attractive foyer area leads to the Weston Suite, which can
seat 200 people and includes all facilities.
Attached to this Suite is a state-of-the-art kitchen.
The original gothic arch feature servery opens onto the
foyer, and the hall and can be opened or closed as required.
This allows flexibility to choose caterers for your reception
or to “do-it-yourself”. Cutlery,
crockery and glasses together with chairs and tables can
be supplied for up to 200 people.
The Weston Suite can be divided by an attractive soundproof
screen, into two separate areas: the Lansdown Hall and the
Weston Hall, seating 80 and 120 people respectively to allow
for smaller events. The neighbouring Courtyard room can
be used as a quiet retreat for the younger or older members of the
party.
The
Centre is fitted with a full sound system, with speakers
in the Weston Suite ensuring your disco or band will be heard by
everyone.
The
centre also has disabled facilities, including a lift.
A driveway at the front of the Centre was completed during
the summer of 2004, enabling easier access for disabled users,
parent and family groups and delivery of catering and entertainment
equipment.
There is a car park which holds a minimum of 21 cars, sited just
behind All Saints church.
Please contact
us if you would like to arrange an informal tour of the Centre.
We look forward to seeing you! |
