Full Terms & Conditions

1.     Users must ensure that enough time is booked for each session. Within the booking time, there must be allowance for preparation of the room before the event and clear up after the event including any cleaning required.
2.     After use, the room must be left clean and tidy; as found. If not, charges may be added.

3.     When moving tables, chairs and equipment care must be taken for your own and others safety. (see document on move chairs correctly here and see how to lifting techniques here)

4.     The room must be occupied and vacated at the agreed times.
5.     Events that overrun will be charged for staff and room hire at an hourly rate.
6.     No damage is to be caused by fixing or adhering anything to the walls, ceilings or floor. Use the cup and eye hooks provided. Blu Tack must not be used.
7.     Items that could cause danger or injury shall not be brought in to the Centre. (e.g. fireworks)
8.     Music and singing is to be kept at a reasonable sound level. Consideration over noise must be shown to other users of the Centre and local residents.
9.     All children must be supervised by an adult at all times. The Centre cannot be held responsible for any accident.
10.     All notices and signs displayed within and around the building must be adhered to.
11.   Users should be familiar with the location of First Aid boxes and the Centre’s fire procedures (see fire instructions document here). In the case or injury or danger, they should take responsibility for the safety of the groups in their charge. The Centre Manager and Premises Supervisor are qualified First Aiders who can be called to give First Aid.
12.   As with all public buildings, no smoking is allowed anywhere within the Centre.
13.   Locking up procedure by key holders must be carried out in accordance with our building security document. (see key holders document here)
14.   Kitchens: All kitchen areas must be cleaned after use ready for others to use. Items must be removed from fridges and freezers after use. Only labelled items showing users’ name and ‘use by’ dates will be kept for a limited period. Fridges and freezers will be cleared and cleaned regularly to meet food hygiene regulations and to provide empty, clean appliances for future users.
15.   The disabled parking spaces in the courtyard area are for disabled parking only and access is required into the courtyard area for deliveries and collections only.
16.   Parking is available in the Church car park and this is by pre-arrangement only. A charge is also made for the use of this car park by Centre users.
17.   Parking Restrictions: Parking is prohibited by BathNES Council to the front of the building apart from the loading and unloading of vehicles. There is one disabled parking space at the top of the driveway.
18.   User Cancellations: Notification of cancellations must be given in writing or e-mail to the Centre Office. Due to difficulty in re-letting, the following conditions apply:
Over 90 days notice: 10% of total venue hire fee will be charged
61 to 90 days notice: 25% of total venue hire fee will be charged
31 to 60 days notice: 50% of total venue hire fee will be charged
8 to 30 days notice: 75% of total venue hire fee will be charged
7 days and less – Full payment of hire fee is required for cancellations made within one week of the event.
19.   Centre Cancellations: All Saints Centre reserve the right to cancel a booking for any reason although we will endeavour to meet your requirements and give as much notice as possible. All Saints Centre accepts no other liability in the event of cancellation.
20.   Provisional Bookings: Initial enquiries and provisional bookings can be made with the Centre Office by telephone, email or in person. All provisional bookings must be confirmed within one week of the provisional arrangement.
21.   Confirmed Bookings: A provisional booking is confirmed when a completed booking form has been signed and our terms and conditions of rental has been received. It is normal on one off bookings for a 25% deposit to be payable.
